GartenStudio was founded in Hamburg, Germany, in 2010. Its subsidiary, Art Atelier, is located in a beautiful small garden in Barmbek. GartenStudio has long been committed to producing artworks in the fields of painting, film, advertising, and photography. Art Atelier also offers art education, including art courses, hobby classes, and various other art classes. Additionally, it regularly hosts garden parties, Chinese cultural events, and a variety of handwork workshops.
FOUNDER Yan Kreter is a freelance artist and filmmaker. After completing Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design and Master's degree in Fine Arts in China, she graduated her Film major at the University of Fine Arts of Hamburg (HfBK) under the supervision of Professor Pepe Danquart and Wim Wenders. She also taught as a lecturer at the Art College of Wuhan Textile University and several private schools in Hamburg. Her paintings were published in Art Research and exhibited at the University of Nevada Art Exhibition in the United States. Her directed films were screened at Metropolis Kino in Hamburg.
